Our Company is currently looking for an IT Systems Specialist to work remotely.
POSITION OVERVIEW
Reports to: Director, IT & Engineering PMO
Department: IT
Status: Full-time exempt
Location: Anywhere in the United States
Travel: Limited travel between offices
Supervisory duties: No
CONTRIBUTION & PURPOSE
We’re looking for the right candidate who is interested in an opportunity to join our corporate IT Department. You would get to be a key go-to resource for application and user hardware help desk support throughout the company. You would also be helping to create corporate IT policies and provide training as applicable under the guidance of the Director of IT. This role and department is expected to grow with many opportunities to learn and contribute in meaningful ways leading to a career rather than just another job.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide technical support for internal applications (i.e. - G Suite, JIRA, Slack, etc.)
- Manage access/permissions of many internal systems used across the entire company
- Handle onboarding and offboarding of employees in collaboration with HR
- Help create and implement corporate policies under the guidance of the Director of IT
- Deliver training to various teams as needed pertaining to application use and security policies
- Tracking of all physical assets (i.e. - computers and other company-purchased equipment)
REQUIREMENTS

- Ability to work on multiple priorities and/or projects simultaneously
- Ability to remain in contact with the internal teams through the completion of IT tickets
- Problem-solving abilities and ability to meet reasonable deadlines
- Ability to create audience specific training material
- Basic knowledge of security concepts, standards, and processes
- Ability to quickly become an expert in administration and support of any system used internally
- Ability to communicate effectively in a proactive manner at all levels of the organization
- Ability to build positive and collaborative relationship
- Excellent listening and communications skills, both verbal and written
- Strong customer relationship skills
- Organized, detail oriented and self-motivated
- Willingness to develop professionally
- Ability to work with little supervision
EDUCATIONAL & PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE
- 3+ years experience in an IT/helpdesk or a similar role where troubleshooting is involved
- Experience configuring and using Mac as well as Windows computers
- Experience with troubleshooting local internet issues
- Experience providing help desk support to users in a remote work environment is preferred
- Experience with administration of Google Workspace apps, Slack, Atlassian software is preferred
- CompTIA A+Certification is preferred
- Network+ Certification is preferred
