Our Company is currently looking for a NOC Level II to work remotely. 


Reports to: Sr. Manager, NOC

Department: Network Engineering & Operations 

Status: Full-time exempt

Location: Anywhere in the United States

Travel: Limited travel between offices

Supervisory duties: No


Our Network and Operations Team is looking for someone who can perform triage on the network systems to make sure that all services are operating optimally. If hired for this role, you’ll be part of the team that manages the uptime of the network, is responsible for traiges for existing issues and follows up on them to get resolution implemented. This position also requires to create, manage, and update various issues, events and alerts coming from the Network/Element Management Systems (NMS/EMS) and generate Root Cause Analysis (RCA) documentation. The NOC Level II position is a key contributor in the success of managing our network, services and maintaining SLAs as advertised to our customers. This is achieved by quickly resolving incidents that our NMS/EMS reports, open tickets for and by constantly monitoring the alerts generated by our tools to resolve incidents before our clients are aware.


To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • General knowledge in managing Linux Operating Systems and Networks
  • Intermediate knowledge in routers, layer 2/3 switches, and other networking and security devices
  • On an ongoing basis, analyze and review systemic issues to determine if any patterns or trends exist that other teams should be made aware of and coordinate communication with all teams that need to be informed
  • Ability to provide and maintain detailed documentation on each ticket
  • Participation in internal, cross-functional, and customer meetings may be required as needed with concise follow-ups to adhere to SLAs and RCA requirements


  • Ability to work on multiple priorities and/or projects simultaneously
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to effectively communicate
  • Ability to remain in contact with the internal teams through the completion of NOC tickets
  • Problem-solving abilities and ability to meet reasonable deadlines
  • Ability to build positive and collaborative relationships
  • Excellent listening and communications skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong customer relationship skills
  • Organized, detail oriented and self-motivated
  • Willingness to develop professionally
  • Ability to work with little supervision


  • 3+ years experience in computer network operations is preferred
  • CompTIA A+Certification is preferred 
  • Network+ Certification is preferred
  • Relevant certifications (i.e. - Cisco, SIP School, AWS, etc) is preferred
  • Previous experience with NMS/EMS platforms is preferred
