Our Company is currently looking for a Quality Engineer, Documentation & Training for a remote position. We’re looking for someone who possesses both passion and experience for a role involving the creation of technical documentation and training for new products and features. Reporting to the Sr. Director of IT, Quality & Engineering PMO, you’ll work within Quality team where you will test new features and products while also creating technical documentation and training for the Marketing & Learning & Development group. In doing so, you will enable all internal audiences to be successful in their roles as Phone.com’s system evolves. 

 

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:

 

  • Work within a Quality team to create technical documentation and training for specific audiences internally (such as Marketing & Learning & Development group) on new features and products being rolled out.
  • Assist the Quality team with testing to report bugs in JIRA for software development teams to address.
  • Set up the means via which feedback can be collected and taken into consideration for technical documentation and training.
  • Under the direction of Quality Leadership, work to continuously improve technical documentation and training taking into account feedback from other stakeholders.
  • Gather and provide feedback to the Product team that either yourself notices or that others bring to your attention when you provide technical training on new products and features. This feedback may be in relation to foreseeable concerns customers could experience.  

 

Qualifications:


  • Experience working for a cloud-based VoIP communications service provider
  • Ability to digest technical information and create documentation that is translated into terminology for target audiences
  • Experience working with a ticketing system such as JIRA
  • Understanding of the nuances of working with different departments and individuals that may not all have the same level of understanding of Phone.com’s system
  • High degree of attention to detail at all times
  • Has excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and listening skills

 

Bonus  Qualifications:


Prior experience with documentation and training is desirable.
